PanPastel Challenge Blog – Challenge 22 – Boys/Fathers Day

Standard

Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well, it’s time for a new challenge to start over at the PanPastel challenge blog and this week our theme is Boys/ Fathers Day and the prize is a fab PanPastel starter kit from our regular sponsor Your Creativity Store.

So here is what I have come up with,

To make this card I made a backing paper using perfect medium and PanPastels and stamps from Indigoblu and Stampin Up, and then stamped out my images with perfect medium and stamps from Indigoblu and then added colour to them with PanPastels . I have then distressed all of the edges with  a craft knife and added some old watch cogs and a little mini compass to decorate.

I have made this for my step dad for fathers day so hopefully he will like it.

Thanks for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments

And the second randomly drawn name will win a fantastic bag of 20 mixed charms which has generously been given to us by our sponsor I’m Charmed

Im Charmed is a new company that  started this year.

I am charm mad, so I thought why not indulge in my passion – I get to play with gorjuss charms all the time lol

Im Charmed is offering a bag of 20 mixed Charms to the winner

So here is what I have made,

To make this card I have used an 8″x8″ scalloped card blank, some red silk, some jeweled pale blue organza, the Moth Rider digi from LEJ Designs and H20 paints to colour. I  have then used some blue netting and blue organza ribbon to make a bow and added one of the small bows from the portabello road pack to go on top, I have also added 3 vintage metal crown buttons with 3 more of the little portabello road bows sitting behind them.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope that you will all come and  join in with us at the LEJ Designs Challenge Blog as we love to see your beautiful creations.

PanPastel Challenge Blog – Challenge 21 – Something Vintage

Standard

Morning everyone, I hope that you are all well and enjoying your weekend, it’s time for a new challenge to start over at the PanPastel Challenge Blog and this week the theme is Something Vintage. The prize is a fab PanPastel starter kit provided  by our regular sponsor Your Creativity Store (colours may vary).

So here is what I have made

All of the stamps used to make my backing paper, topper and sentiment are from an Indigoblu stamp set, I have used cream card, Perfect medium and PanPastels. To make the backing paper I have simply stamped the compass image randomly over the card with perfect medium and then applied the PanPastel  using a Sofft tools sponge. All I have added for embellishments is a knotted ribbon as I  didn’t want to lose the effect of the stamps.

Thank you for reading this post, as always I love to read your comments and I hope that you will all come and join in with the PanPastel Challenge Blog as we love to  see your beautiful creations.

So here is what I have come up with

To make this card I have used an 8″x8″ scalloped card blank, I took a sheet of cream card stock and applied PanPastel colour in  shades of pale blue and purple (that I had mixed up earlier) and blended then together with a Sofft Tools sponge I then stamped in my flourishes using stamps from Creative Expressions and  stamped a Tim Holtz sentiment on to some of the left over card (this is one of my favorite sentiments, I just think it’s so true and so beautifully worded)after I had stamped the sentiment I then went around the edges of it with a silver gel pen. I then simply added some ribbon and flowers to decorate.
